In society, more and more questions are being asked about the child-resistant packaging of products. Regulations are becoming increasingly more stringent to prevent (young) children in particular, as well as animals, from opening packaging containing hazardous substances. This applies, for example, to products from the chemical and pharmaceutical industries, but also to products from the food supplement market.
As a specialist in PET packaging, OBECK has also included a series of child-resistant (CR) jars. These so-called CRC Jars (CR jars, also known as child-resistant jars) can all be fitted with matching Child-Resistant Closures. These CRCs must be pressed and turned simultaneously to open them. All child-resistant packaging is extensively tested and complies with ISO 8317:2004 legislation. OBECK is happy to help you find the right solution.

The CR jars are produced in one of our Food-approved production halls, making use of modern processes and inspection technologies. Before a batch is delivered to our customers, it must satisfy all our quality standards. OBECK holds an FSSC 22000 certification.

The CR jars are made of sustainable PET as standard. This material is 100% recyclable. You can also opt for rPET (recycled PET). Add the product to your wishlist and enquire about the options.

The 50ml and 75ml jars are also intended to be combined with 53SP400 screw caps. If you would like to combine other child-resistant PET jars with a screw cap, we will be happy to send you a sample for you to try out. Add the product to your wishlist and request a sample.
Depending on the type of chemical, it must be determined whether PET packaging can be used. We always recommend testing for yourself. Ask for further advice from our sales department.
Various products can be harmful if ingested or taken incorrectly. They may also cause irritation or other serious effects when touched.
Of course we want to protect people, especially children, from this. Most packaging must comply with European Regulation 1272/2008. Various forms of packaging are described by law. However, there is still a lot of packaging in circulation that does not comply with this.
