Production Process

The production process at OBECK

Combining innovative technologies and precision, our production process is responsible for the efficient production of high-quality PET Jars and PET bottles. The injection of the preforms as well as the temperature control and the stretch blow molding process take place within one machine. For the production of our closures, we use an injection molding process.

Both processes are carried out on state-of-the-art machines and complemented by automated packaging techniques. This integration enables maximum flexibility, efficiency and speed throughout our entire production process.

Closures

To complete our PET packaging, we are able to manufacture 90% of our own closures made of PP, HDPE or LDPE in-house using the latest injection moulding machines.

We offer matching closures for our large range of PET Jars, ranging from smooth to ribbed, embossed to debossed, in child-resistant, screw and snap variants. We are constantly improving, providing closure solutions to meet specific requirements for the perfect fit, no matter the jar.

Production planning

We optimize our production process through computer-aided planning and evaluation, using proven software tools that are continually expanded and improved.

All of our production processes are BDE-supported, which means that we always have access to current operating data and know exactly how efficiently our productions are running. This control not only allows us to constantly monitor the quality of our products, but also to ensure rapid delivery.

Sleeving

Sleeving is a, flexible way for bottles and jars of all shapes and sizes to achieve maximum standout on an in-store shelf. It gives a premium look that underlines a product’s quality and your product will stand out in the shop shelf.

The appeal of sleeving goes beyond the purely aesthetic. The method is very flexible in terms of the shape of the packaging and sleeving also offers the benefits of allowing more on-pack room for design and more scope for printing in a variety of languages. To make the packaged product visible, windows can be incorporated into the artwork to allow the consumer to see what they are purchasing.

A sleeve contributes to the recyclability of PET packaging – by choosing for the right sleeve together with a PET bottle or jar, you can make a difference in how your total packaging can be recycled.
