2023, 2025 and now 2026: For the third time in four years, we are included in the SZ Institut ranking of Germany’s most crisis-resilient companies. In the current overall ranking, we reach #145.
The 2026 results provide an additional perspective: Among medium-sized companies with up to 499 employees, we rank #106. These are two separate results that put our latest recognition into perspective from different angles.
The ranking is based on an extensive data-driven analysis conducted by the Creditreform Group on behalf of the SZ Institut. Companies do not apply for inclusion or submit their own information for assessment. Instead, they are identified and evaluated independently by Creditreform. The assessment started with 103,054 companies based in Germany and examined both qualitative criteria, such as payment behaviour, order situation and workforce development, and quantitative indicators from annual financial statements.
These include annual net income, return on equity, equity ratio, liquidity and return on investment. The assessment also incorporates the Creditreform creditworthiness index and a balance-sheet rating. While the analysis represents a snapshot as of 30 June 2026, several criteria cover data from multiple financial years.
For us, the real strength of the result lies in its consistency: #77 in 2023, #156 in 2025 and #145 in 2026. Three appearances in the overall ranking within four years show that economic stability at Obeck is not a one-off result, but something that has been confirmed repeatedly over time.
This solid foundation creates reliability – for our customers and business partners as well as for our employees. It also reinforces our ambition to continue on this path with a consistent, long-term approach.
